Resin bound cottage frontage, Gloucester
This frontage serves several cottages, so it needed a surface that could be laid seamlessly across an irregular shape without cut lines. Resin bound was trowelled in one continuous pour and framed with a sett border to hold every open edge.

Why resin bound rather than block paving here?
The shape is irregular and meets stone walls on three sides. Blocks would need constant cutting along those curves; resin is poured to whatever line the walls make, so there are no thin, weak cut pieces at the perimeter.
How long is a resin driveway out of use?
The surface is taped off for the rest of the day while it cures. Foot traffic is fine the following morning and vehicles after roughly 24 hours, depending on temperature.

Does the surface stay level with the road?
Yes. The entrance is brought out flush to the existing tarmac at the sett course, so there is no lip for a low car to catch on.
