## Who are Solid Ground Paving?

## What do you specialise in?

Getting the structure under a surface right. Excavation to formation, correctly compacted sub-base in layers, proper edge restraint and falls set to a real drainage point. The surface course — tarmac, block, resin — is the last and cheapest part of the job.

## What do you deliberately not do?

We stay inside our trade rather than claiming everything. There are things we are regularly asked for and consistently turn down, because doing them badly would cost you more than sending you elsewhere.

- We are not a landscaping or garden design firm — we do not do planting, turfing, fencing or garden structures.
- We are not a jet-washing or driveway-cleaning service, and we do not seal or paint existing tarmac.
- We are not a national franchise or a lead-generation broker. Every job is carried out by our own crews.
- We do not fit imprinted or pattern-printed concrete.
- We do not cold-call, door-knock or quote from the roadside. Every quote follows a site survey and is issued in writing.

## How are you different from the typical driveway firm?

Three things: the build-up is specified in writing before you commit, so you can compare like with like; no deposit is taken before materials are ordered; and we survey every job rather than pricing from the pavement. None of that is exotic — it is just uncommon in this trade.
